Our Story

In 2022, just a few weeks before Christmas, I unexpectedly lost my main source of income. While I was grieving that huge chapter of my life suddenly coming to a halt and wondering how I could help support my family, Birdie Belle manifested itself to me. Growing up, I always heard my mom referring to this metaphorical "Birdie Belle". My maternal great-grandmother's first name was Birdie, but apparently she hated it so much that she went by her middle name instead. Her daughter, my grandma, ended up loathing her middle name, which is Belle. When my mom was pregnant with my older sister, she jokingly told them she was naming her Birdie Belle. Although she didn't name my sister that, we still talked about the name a lot as I was growing up and it just sort of stuck with me. 

While the name came to me first, it took a bit for everything else to line up. Being a stay at home mom with two girls, I was unsure of how I could make this happen.  The thought of everything was flat out daunting. But after a lot of prayer, support, and hard work, the pieces all fell into place and I decided to take the leap. 

 

 Birdie Belle is a small, family owned boutique. My girls are my inspiration. My husband is the tech guy and has helped me through all the technical aspects of the business. My family and friends have encouraged me to follow my dreams and I never could have done this without them, or you for that matter. So thank YOU for being here. I hope that Birdie Belle brings you happiness, togetherness, and inspiration- just like it has for me.
